One thing I've noticed about the me now vs the me of the past: I can get hype in a way I just couldn't before. It's like the filter got taken off and I can enjoy life more.

It’s so funny how this conversation mirrors my experience in the military.
All the things below can wreck your military career, but I saw an O-5 quietly allowed to retire after the brigade SHARP rep he was having an affair with report him for sexual assault, which I’m pretty sure was founded.

- spending too much time with your kids

- not moving every 2-3 years
- taking a partner's job/preferences into account
