Discord probably won't last long after its IPO sadly. Any sort of long term viability for social media will be dependent on the rules for such things being dictated by its users (or some sort of benevolent private ownership aka a unicorn)

If you have a way to enter and remain in a country other than asylum, that will virtually always be the better option, because people applying for asylum are treated like shit.

Today was two crises related to getting out getting resolved. Heading to the sweat equity and closing up shop event. Janitor asked about my car, which is nice. I do need to sell it before I leave.

The majority of organizing happening in Minnesota isn’t just peaceful, it’s INVISIBLE. Moms showing up who won’t be interviewed on TV, people whose ICE patrols don’t turn into viral video. The grocery runs, the donations, the people filming bc they happen to be there. Please remember this.
