If the sandwich don’t split, you must acquit
Defense says that the officer's testimony was "very questionable" because he said the sandwich both exploded in spray of mustard and onions and also landed in its wrapper on the ground.

The global economy has already hit the brick wall, it just doesn't know it yet.
A terrifying warning from the CEO of a consumer products company about what is about to hit the economy from Trump’s tariffs.

Not to sound callous, but good law and policy is not made by those devastated by tragedy. Laws named after people, drafted by upset family members, are often crude and heavy handed policies that are unenforceable and have negative second hand effects.

What I said about the Carter marriage: "When Jimmy Carter was told that he was very sick...he was told, probably the best thing is for you to go into the hospital...Carter said, 'No, I want to be home, and be in bed with Rosalynn, and just sit holding hands.'"

It is impossible to sit comfortably on a sofa in a full suit. And yet they always try.

@juliemason.bsky.social Here is one I took at Lake Buckhorn near Millersburg, Ohio, in the Spring. Doubt the weather will allow us to see any this week.

@juliemason.bsky.social Trump & Pence did their 60 minutes interview together in 2016. Seems pretty common, actually.

@juliemason.bsky.social Really enjoying the convention coverage! I want to give a shout out to my cousin, Rachel Ruffer, who is a delegate there from Ohio. Looks like she is having a great time!

@juliemason.bsky.social 8 years ago this month I heard you on POTUS for the first time. My son was working two jobs on summer break from college and I picked him up after the second one each day. You were covering the RNC and I loved it. I've been a devoted listener since. Thanks for all you do!

@juliemason.bsky.social Hi, Julie. Could you ask a guest why the DNC is still saying they have to have an early roll call to get on the Ohio ballot? The General Assembly passed a fix to that and the Governor signed it on June 2.

@juliemason.bsky.social Your election story worker interview was great. I was a Republican Central Committee member in an Ohio county for years. My precinct had volunteers, mostly retired, who made it work. We need them. These fake outrages will destroy the public faith without reason.

@juliemason.bsky.social Re MTG: If you watch her after hours speeches where she introduces show bills, she shows that softness with the speaker pro tem. She performs hard for the camera, but when the speaker interrupts, she smiles and is respectful and abides by the rulings, always says "thank you."
