I don't know enough to evaluate Pete Skandalakis's decision here.
But I do know enough to say that the blame for this case falling apart can be laid at the feet of Fani Willis.

The Senate ‘deal’ is nothing more than a surrender to Trump’s reckless and cruel agenda that will rip away healthcare from millions of Georgians. I am outraged that Trump is using starving children and families as political pawns—all while Kemp refuses to grow a backbone and stand up for Georgians.

But I am not giving a tax break to thousands of the very richest Atlantans.
We, as a society, have an obligation to fund public education. All of us. Tax breaks for wealthy seniors on this is a pernicious trend that needs stop.

I really like the phrase "Kavanaugh stop." It's not a Terry stop, because a Terry stop is short and based on reasonable suspicion of a crime. A Kavanaugh stop, by contrast, is when masked goons kidnap a person for speaking Spanish.
