I think i'm right about this.

But if you post something on here & somebody "likes" it, then nobody sees it except the person who sent the post.

I think that's the default. (I'm sure you can change it, but hey)

If you really do like something on here, repost it.

Likes are nice. But reposts rock.

Done 5 hours work on references and layout of Mum's book, then tried to figure out why their TV has lost stations/aerial recognition, now learning how to use a developer tool to allow Google Play Store on dad's Amazon Fire tablet so he can install the Eufy camera app.

Send.

Help.

Veru much enjoying this person on LinkedIn who's asking Historic Environment Scotland if Mons Meg cannon will be used for defence against intruders. The 572 year old cannon they just posted a video about conserving. The cannon whose barrel burst and took it out of action in 1680.

I cannot offer you a big Black Friday deal (though if my inbox is anything to go by, nobody can - up to 20% off, ooh) but my forthcoming book has a small discount and a pre-order hugely helps with it getting stocked come release day🙏

Someone came to collect a feather duvet I'd offered for free. It's peeing it down and is a 20 min walk to the next thing she's collecting so we've given her a lift to her next collection, and then will take her to the bus stop.

Why is it that people of a certain age (pensioners) believe that if they think something is important, it should be capitalised?

No, the Softening of the Brain on his death certificate is not capitalised! Not is Death Certificate!

It's as if I said "there are a number of Trees in the forest."

The relatively recent (last 9 months or so) random glitch in Word that means that the navigation pane stops displaying headings is SO FUN, isn't it? ESPECIALLY when you're indexing a 350+ page document and need to be able to move back and forth quickly and easily by using those headings. FFS.

I think one useful mantra in life is "I am a normal woman".
For example, why would I spend €40k on a wedding, I am a normal woman. Why would I rent out a castle, I am a normal woman. What do I need botox for, I am a normal woman. I won't need to still look 30 when I'm 50, sure I'm a normal woman.
