Refuge isn’t weakness. It’s an investment. And the returns are human, immeasurable, and generational.

Britain once understood that. It can again.

Ignoring the fact this guy doesn’t seem to understand the thing he wants to leave, it’s completely hilarious he thinks ‘normal people’ are sitting around questioning it. Proof needed indeed! 😂😂
You need to get out more. I’m not right wing but support leaving it. It’s become a charter for minority rule over majority and there is no brake or ability to manage ‘law making’ over sovereignty. I know a lot of normal people who question it

I don’t want to be too shrill about this but I think the BBC, ITV and Sky have disgraced themselves in their coverage of the anti-refugee protests. A massive failure of judgement. But now we know the next time a progressive protest “isn’t news” that it’s nothing to do with numbers

This weekend thousands of people in the UK stood up against racists and far-right thugs only to have representatives of a nominally leftwing government support, enable and empower the racists. Why do you not hear the worries of those trying to protect minority rights and liberal democracy?
Govt minister Angela Eagle is asked what her message is to people on the streets shouting "get this scum off our streets" & holding banners saying 'protecting women & children is not far right, its just right'

In her reply Eagle says "we hear your worries"

There have already been multiple inquiries and reviews into grooming gangs and child sexual abuse. The results and recommendations have been ignored. This won't show anything different, it will give more oxygen to those claiming it's all about race and immigration though.

In short, Starmer has taken a massive hit among Labour voters, for no gain elsewhere, while boosting Farage's popularity, including doubling his ceiling among Labour voters.

I.e., the political scientists were right, Morgan McSweeney was horrendously wrong.
Keir Starmer's net favourability rating has dropped 12pts in a month to -46, his lowest level ever, including a 34pt drop among Labour voters

All Britons: -46 net rating (down 12 from 13-14 Apr)

By 2024 vote
Labour: -5 (down 34)
Lib Dem: -13 (down 12)
Conservative: -76 (up 1)
Reform: -94 (down 5)
