This feels like peak infantilisation of the elderly.

What exactly is ‘disgraceful’ about giving the elderly/infirm practical advice about how to be physically intimate in a safe way? They aren’t children. Their innocent eyes don’t need to be protected. Plus it’s medical guidance not a jazz mag

If we're talking about bias, why do BBC politics programmes, from Politics Live to the Laura Kuennsberg Show, still always begin with a look at the newspaper front pages, which are overwhelmingly biased in one direction. Helps frame the entire news agenda and debate in their favour

"When the Left sees bias in BBC coverage, its arguments are dismissed. When the Right does, it’s a national scandal."

Yep. Nobody was forced to resign when they did exactly the same thing (only worse!) to Corbyn. The BBC just "rejected" the BBC Trust's finding. bsky.app/profile/jimc...

The founder of Newsmax was just on the Today programme pontificating about bias. Boy, the BBC loves to submit itself to flagellation.

The Telegraph’s Record of Climate Falsehoods
The Telegraph, which has accused the BBC of bias and a lack of editorial rigour, has been forced to amend a swathe of climate inaccuracies. The BBC’s director-general and CEO resigned this weekend aft...

Mic's writing an analysis is always good, and you should buy his book as a gift for people at Christmas, but I'm docking him points for this graphic :

He just reminded me that Hartley-Brewer exists. I had peacefully forgotten that fact.

Here’s the BBC bias - meticulously evidenced and presented clearly.

Yet not a word from “professional” journalists. Rotten to the core.

Michael Prescott's report makes vital points about the importance of being accurate, and also how difficult that is. For instance, he describes himself as having been Political Editor of the Sunday Times for 10 years, which is not what the Guardian reported when he left the job.

Sam Altman has killed more people than Luigi Mangione.
This needs to be a thing, yes. OpenAI has a literal body count at this point
I fully believe in the corporate death penalty and believe we would be a better world if OpenAI lost its corporate charter and was forcibly dissolved.

Pretty much every Culture Secretary we've had since the post was created has reinforced my impression that our frontline politicians simply do not know or care about culture.
Hi Lisa Nandy! I’m a BAFTA winner from a small town. Instead of asinine questions like this, why not tell us how we can continue to make a living in the eviscerated creative sector over which you notionally preside?
