The economics are rigged (my opinion) in favour of fossil fuels.
So hybrid is great because you can run it on cheap gas!!

Similarly it is cheaper to fly from Glasgow to Kraków and then to London then it is to take a train. The latter uses a fraction of the carbon

Here it’s the anxiety that a heatpump cannot be good enough on its own, you need some trusted gas to act as a backup.

Except it is more efficient to use that same gas to generate electricity and run the heatpump on that electricity.

The #AssistedDying Bill now has 1,227 proposed amendments – more than any other Bill in UK Parliament history. Peers have set the Bill up to fail. This is filibustering and it distracts from the real task, getting the safeguards right and delivering a law that works.
