Scientists if you’re like “man I wish more people knew about X” then I humbly suggest hiring an artist to make a thing that communicates X and then put it into the world because it’s so fun, extremely “hell yeah” inducing, you gotta try it.

On my third playthrough of BG3 and now I understand why my husband has replayed Chrono Trigger 100 times. Who needs a new game when my favorite has endless possibilities?

Three out of five men in this shot have been accused of sexual misconduct, harassment or abusive behaviour towards women. A fourth signed into law a near-total abortion ban in his state as governor.

LONG RAMBLING EMOTIONAL THREAD:

It's World AIDS Day. Since the Administration has decided to keep it quiet, I'd like to share my introduction to AIDS.

I grew up in Seattle. My mom remarried a man who had a brother who was a King County Sheriff's Deputy. His name was Terry and he was gay. 1/x

“I will not,” said Toad. “I am in my warm bed.”

Discussing the most emo lyrics of all time with my husband. I think the trophy goes to Taking Back Sunday for this gem:
“The truth is you could slit my throat and with my one last gasping breath I'd apologize for bleeding on your shirt.”

FYI: We must get rid of those Glock cameras and if that means that we start putting in FOIA requests for state and local politicians license plate info (since the state ruled that flock data is public information) we WILL do that. See how much you fuckers like it.
In October, statewide news reported that a sheriff's deputy in Texas searched thousands of Flock cameras in Washington for 'Had an abortion, search for female.’ New documents obtained by RANGE show Spokane County Sheriff's Office cameras were accessed in that search:
Texas deputy searched Spokane County Flock cameras for a woman who had an abortion– RANGE Media
Amidst nationwide and state scrutiny of the cameras, Spokane County’s Flock network was used by an out-of-state cop looking for a woman who had an abortion.

Remember: Almost all of us are the descendants of immigrants who fled persecution, or were brought to America under duress, or sought better lives for themselves and their descendants.

Politicians who stoke fear and hatred over immigration want you to forget this.

Do not.

Also got to see Constant Lovers on Saturday and they’re up there with Clothing Optional and Screen Frogs for my favorite local bands this year. The Seattle area makes some fucking great music.

Still thinking about how good Minus The Bear was on Saturday night 🥹 I hope I don’t have to wait another 7 years to see them again.

Why didn't the Seattle Times identify this op/ed writer as Republican Reagan Dunn's former chief of staff and a longtime Republican operative? Do they not want people to know that this audit was a partisan endeavor?

New King County executive must guard against risky grantmaking | Op-Ed
As the summer's audit showed, King County needs to make accountability and transparency the driving forces behind grant distribution. It's not there yet.

Last night we saw Minus The Bear for the Menos El Oso anniversary tour and it was the stuff concert dreams are made of. Super nice guys, impeccable performance, and a room full of hometown fans who have been waiting for this since their retirement in 2018.

How we beat back the corporate takeover of America:

1. Break up corporate monopolies

2. Continue building union power

3. End Citizens United and get big money out of politics

Non-violent resistance for retail spaces:

Fill up their parking spots. Use all their carts. Park. Grab a cart. Go inside and wander around in circles. Buy nothing for hours. Customers can’t park. Customers can’t get a cart. #resist
