MERCENARIES: A Video and Poster Campaign to Counter ICE Recruitment

"They are not protecting our communities—they are trying to destroy them. They aim to wear down our ability to identify w/ each other, our ability to feel compassion.
If they succeed, all of us will be in danger."

Thanks to John Roberts, Trump gets to pay himself hundreds of millions in taxpayer dollars because, according to Roberts, the president controls all executive branch personnel and all of their decisions—and there’s probably nothing anyone can do about it.
As Trump plans to steal $230 million from taxpayers, we can thank John Roberts
Shall we call it a "Roberts reward"?

Yeah, but to be fair that’s only because they are.
"Research has shown that, inside some companies, workers begin to see their colleagues who use generative AI as less creative, even less trustworthy."
Hi. I wrote an essay about AI slop: How it feels like an invasive species for the internet. How its boosters describe building a future that’s devoid of craft. How frictionlessness can be nihilistic & how this stuff seems to leach part of our shared humanity out of the world. I hope you'll read it.

I found the war on Christianity
Federal agents aren’t trying to keep the peace. They want violence to escalate so that Trump can declare martial law.

They shot a reverend in the head with pepper balls while he was praying in front of an ICE facility. If that doesn’t tell you where we are as a country, nothing will.

It's 48 hours since Little Rocket Lab launched, we've been top of New and Trending for the entire time, 94% rating on Steam, huge player numbers, big numbers on Game Pass, tons of streams and YT videos...

and we've still received next to no press at all

The press for smaller games is just dead.

I've received a lot of criticism for expressing my support, but what's more important is that all transgender people live happy lives.

Political violence is evil, killing people is evil, a country with more guns in it than people is broken, and what the government is saying about political violence right now being a primarily leftwing phenomenon is factually, statistically untrue. They are using this moment to rewrite history.

Best found footage/faux-docu horror ever! The way it starts broad and shortly brings the disparate phenomena together to their common cause is a brilliant structure.
Noroi: The Curse

Consider this a double recommendation as I already mentioned it in the opening post, but this truly is something special. The more documentary-style approach and splicing from different sources, gives Noroi an uncanny verisimilitude few found footage horrors come close to.

Hmm.. I guess ill try for 8 miles today. The road in front of where i live is closed for the day so i can't go anywhere really, but i can go to the park and walk a long time lol. Do I also walk to the Sally's and get new hairdye? if so what color? Folks seem to like blue, but it washes out quickly.

Just a reminder to check for your name in this list of books that OpenAI trained from. If your name is there, they probably owe you several thousand dollars.

OpenAI cried that if everyone eligible author files, the company will go bankrupt, so I'm alerting every author I have ever spoken to.
