This is a very good post to send to your friends and colleagues who use AI, teaching them how to learn how to get more correct answers out of LLMs. AI haters should read this too, as it’s research-based and you can see how these systems work when you encounter them.

Worth reminding that this isn’t really foreign “aid” when the Ukrainian army is grinding the army of our long-declared adversary into dust.

It’s a giant cost-savings plan on what it would cost us to do the same directly.

Stopping this military rearmament is abjectly nonsensical and bad policy.

Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell confirmed on July 2 that some military assistance to Ukraine has been halted as the U.S. Defense Department conducts a review of foreign aid deliveries.

"In Canada, where people don’t fear bankruptcy for seeking care, patients come in and they just talk to you, about doctor things. That’s a profound relief, for them and me."

A U.S. doctor, new to Canada, speaks to the jarring differences in the two countries' healthcare.

This is a great piece.

Any American who says Canada should be the 51st state needs to be arraigned and sent to Winnipeg in January to await trial. And they don’t have to be locked up they just have to spend two consecutive hours outside.

I’m in Calgary and at the moment it’s -25°C/-13°F. Try invading that America!

And Canada found out that the price for being a helpful friend, who helped with California's wild fires, is 15% more.
