My beloved @jsmithcameron.bsky.social,

@mollymckew.bsky.social and I think there needs to be a staged reading (all female?) of the Epstein emails. (Possibly a benefit victims’ legal services?) ( @gtconway.bsky.social ?)

What do you think?

PS: Miss you 🥰

The amazing thing about this admin is the corruption is so literal and so overt — in many cases, it’s just a direct transfer of taxpayer dollars to themselves and other b-villains from the show, like this is all completely normal, bc they can’t be bothered to extort corporations & interest groups

As the endless thanksgiving recipes start to pollute every media feed, just remember:

bourbon is the most overused and terrible whiskey in cooking and you can find ten better things to put in a sweet or savory dish just by looking around your kitchen or home booze pile

Avoiding the misery of soul-whoring: a guide to modern times

You know, it’s not my favorite fruit, but there are few things that beat the color of papaya

Incidentally I stumbled into a whole crazy part of the “wellness” internet yesterday about papaya seeds which I do not recommend

True villains understand making others complicit is far more effective than defeating them
The older I get, the more I realize that modern society functions essentially as a giant pyramid scheme of people mutually blackmailing each other into enabling and covering up the worst of human abuses, from genocide to child trafficking.

Like I dunno, maybe the reason it took a lady to break open the story of all the men protecting the dude trafficking underage girls is because the male journos were all emailing him making jokes about it?

Me: Did it have a Maryland license plate?

Friend: Yeah.

Every time the UK follows the sad US playbook like it’s something new and they aren’t connected, it makes me incredibly sad for both our nations.
It feels like the story is coming in for a landing around the question: does the BBC settle with Trump for major cash, like CBS did? www.cnn.com/2025/11/12/m... But here you have to imagine taxpayers money getting handed to Trump. Who in the UK is going to explain and take responsibility for that?

I know it will take some time for people to get to that part of this story — but, umm, what an interesting thing for a writer to say to a criminal?

I’m here for this whole thread and all the convos in replies. I think women talking about all this stuff that’s supposed to the shameful gross quiet lady stuff in public makes it like talking about any other critically important health issue and stops letting idiot pols make things up about it
TIL that blood platelets have serotonin receptors, which is why anemia can mimic depression symptoms and that is absolutely fucking fascinating.

Hasn’t he had two “annual physicals” this year? Did he have to pay entirely out of pocket for the second, as no insurance would cover duplicate exams + tests?

Of course not because he has no idea how anything works. “Deal with insurance yourself!” is the con of conservative “healthcare” offerings
Trump: I want the money to go into an account for people where the people buy their own insurance. They will feel like entrepreneurs. Call it Trumpcare… anything but Obamacare. Obamacare is a disaster just like he was.

In the century leading up to 1975, nearly 6000 freighters went down in the Great Lakes.

The Edmund Fitzgerald was the last.

The last. In 50 years, not a single commercial freighter has been lost in the Great Lakes.

Why?

It's NOAA. Of course it's NOAA.
