There is no gas shortage in Australia.

Remember: Australia exports 80% of its gas.

Despite the fact that nearly all sides of politics agree, this hasn't stopped Big Gas from pushing the myth of a shortage to justify digging new gas fields.

As chair of LR-GAS (Linda Reynolds Grievance Appreciation Society) I regret to inform you all that our dear Linda's latest grievance - Grievance No 4,352 - has been dismissed by the NACC

Linda alleged the payment was corrupt or summat, and also she was never asked her opinion . . . I kid you not

Keep hearing Liberals saying how they have not clearly communicated what they stand for. But what DO they stand for other than the interests of greedy old white boomers who will go to their graves in a warming world clutching onto their franking credits. And I’m a rich old white boomer. #4Corners

The Libs still think we live in Howard’s world. But those who voted for him in ‘96 are now mostly dead. People that age now are better educated, mostly progressive, accept climate change, worry about their kids & grandkids and reject the sexist, racist, science-denying worldview of the Coaltion

I just hate this world where you get to believe whatever claim you want to believe by ignoring any fact that’s inconvenient to it.

That this behaviour is modelled by the President of the United States is a new era of darkness for us all.

The universal reality that Trump voters will discover if they haven't already is that you can't vote for a bad man to lead and expect to be lead to a good outcome.

It's not only Trump, he (and the entire Republican Party) are part of a global far right movement that has persuaded billions of self pitying gullible people to believe insane shite. And the world is riddled with it. Their promises are impossible to achieve and are fuelled by racism, greed and rage.

It's pretty funny that Peter Dutton's entire election strategy was divide and conquer, setting one group against another and damn the consequences for national unity. Didn't work for the country but seems to be working a treat for the Coalition.

What a pig of a man.

David Littleproud got in a car and drove to Albury where Sussan Ley was attending to her dying mother?

He did this so he could harass Ley - while👏🏽her👏🏽mother👏🏽was👏🏽dying - purely and solely about the National's business?

I can't believe I know this. How vile.

Labor Treasurer Jim Chalmers today:

Second rate cut in 3 months.
Inflation steady in RBA band.
Unemployment steady at 4.1%.
Real wages higher.
All 4 done simultaneously.
No country can make same claim.

Liberal mantra: Labor can't manage money. PFFFTT!!!

it's really funny to imagine going back to January when people were tipping a Peter Dutton to be PM and telling someone "actually he's going to lose so badly that it splits up a stable, governing political partnership that's existed for the better of a century"

The ALP first created an official party quota for women MP's starting at 30% in 1993, increasing to 40%, & finally 50% in 2015.
The LNP has always been misogynist, & I'm convinced that it's why they've lost so many seats to the Teals, who're all women.

Labor’s gender quota is the true hero of the Australian election
Labor’s electoral success is a triumph of strategic gender equality advocacy and transformation that has changed the entire parliament.

Massive female representation by ALP. Pretty lousy by all other parties.
The number of Labor women in the HoR is actually monumental. Like, listing the names of women in each party and... just, wow.

Labor women MPs outnumber the total number of LNP in the HoR...
Fun fact: Labor has more women whose first name starts with ‘A’ than the combined total of the Liberals and Nationals.

“I’ve always loved being a performer onstage & with my music. It was empowering to b on stage, to feed off the energy of an audience”

Price now feeds off division, anger & her notoriety. It’s the attention she craves.
