ok I would like to formally apologize to McBride again this is unambiguously a good quote and I don't think I've seen anyone condemn the center for *their* purity testing bullshit in such explicit and accessible terms before and that includes The Squad.

Of course Schumer is facing backlash - he deserves it. In the article, it ponders whether Schumer is “a liar” or “inept”. I’d argue that he’s both. And, oh my, it comes as no surprise to read that Hakeem Jeffries is defending his weak, useless colleague. Schumer must go. Jeffries can go too.

The thing about Mamdani is that he’s a talented politician but not otherworldly or one in a billion, he’s just a competent guy with popular ideas who ran against an entitled piece of shit and to me it’s a lot more optimistic to imagine 1000 campaigns like his than to view him as a unique phenomenon
