Freedom of speech for some, rubber bullets for others.

Hey everyone, I do graphic recording / live illustration and note taking at conferences! If you want to cater for your visual learners and also get some cool artworks to share after, hit me up! I was at a UNICEF conference last week and Youth Action conference today ✌🏽

No sanctions. More coal and gas. Weakened environment laws which are potentially worse than what we have now and could expand fossil fuel projects. TBH it sounds to me exactly what Peter Dutton would have wanted

Get in loser, we are trashing Australia’s national environmental laws! Labor are making sure their legacy is as easy as possible on their fossil fuel mates and as awful as possible for the community. #auspol

It’s a Spookalyptus season! Ever seen a ghost gum at night, or crossed over the threshold to stand inside a tingle tree? Enjoy my words and drawings about Australia’s haunting #eucalypts #australianflora #halloween
Spooky eucy! Let’s celebrate the haunting beauty of Australia’s gum trees this Halloween | Jess Harwood

Rubble, gangs, and airstrikes: What was waiting for me back in Gaza City

I couldn’t wait to return north after the ceasefire. But the joy of being home quickly gave way to yet more uncertainty and fear.

What a way to find out my partner inherited a leaf blower 🤣 #teamrake

No climate trigger, more coal and gas, more extinctions and watered down environment laws being negotiated with the Coalition. Labor is helping fuel the extinction, climate and biodiversity crises.

Happy Diwali to those celebrating!

The climate targets announced by @albomp.bsky.social are so weak - imagine if we all took this attitude to work! Shame on the government for once again letting down Australia #climate #targets

This comic was done in consultation with my partner Matt :)

“Achievable” as in weak!?

The PM @albomp.bsky.social has had a busy month so far, trying to convince the world he’s a climate champion when really he and Murray Watt are proving just how willing they are to sell Australia’s future for fossil fuel profits
September 13, 2025 at 2:42 AM
Even former Foreign Minister Bob Carr is quoted today in the media saying Albo was wasting his breath. Less talk, more action @albomp @senatorpennywong
August 4, 2025 at 8:55 AM
Did you catch @senatorpennywong in Parliament yesterday saying Australia exports “non-lethal components and parts” for F35 bombers? F35 have been used by Israel to bomb Palestinians in Gaza, and Australia is aiding that by exporting F35 parts.

How this differs from "hopes and prayers" is not immediately obvious.

Just in case you missed this, this was the first week back in Parliament. It’s revealing to see what motivates @albomp.bsky.social’s government to act. The PM has released yet another statement today about Israel, but again no actual sanctions.

The last panel was harrowing to draw. #auspol

I feel like “always look on the bright side of life” really encapsulates @albomp @murraypwatt Labor’s delusional climate policy where they keep approving massive new coal and gas projects and then claim they’re acting on climate change.

Good to see all the cartoonists covering the Australian Climate Case this week on Insiders. The incredible work done by Uncle Pabai, Uncle Paul and their community in the Torres Strait needs to be talked about again and again - and @albomp.bsky.social needs to be called out #climatejustice

My heart is hurting for Uncle Paul, Uncle Pabai and the communities in the Torres Strait #AustralianClimateCase #auspol

My heart is hurting for the Torres Strait and the community who brought the historic legal challenge on climate grounds to the Albanese’s government and lost today. They say they are steadfast in their fight for Country and Culture. If only Albanese had an ounce of their courage.
