One glimmer of light in the darkness: I have to admit I approve of the modern usage of "cinema" to describe when something (not necessarily connected in any way to movies) rules. For obvious reasons, but still, it's nice hearing slightly confused people say "it was absolute cinema."

ICE has killed before and will kill again.
In the last year, ICE agents have fired shots at least 15 times, killing four people. They shot at people trying to warn them of children in the area of their raids and they shot people running away from them.

We need more of this from the left. Controlling the language of its enemies is an essential tool of fascism. Pushing the left toward decorum while the right executes people in the street is textbook. Frey swearing is far less inflammatory than Mike Johnson constantly saying he hasn’t heard the news.
