Here we go again.
A gift to get a theatrically released, traditionally animated Looney Tunes movie and then a new episode of The Muppet Show in consecutive years.

It was wild how huge this game was at the time. Outside of Pokémon maybe the only turn-based RPG that many kids in my school played.

I'm impressed at how logistically, Sabrina Carpenter is like the perfect height to host the Muppets

The new Muppet Show is proof that we can still have good things, the world we knew isn’t lost yet, and Gonzo the Great remains a delight

worth noting that the second rich people stopped being afraid of mobs tearing them limb from limb, they stopped building libraries and opera houses and stuff and started ripping the copper wiring out of the walls of society instead

"Abolish the Police and then what?" while infantile and often asked in bad faith, is at least, on some levels, a real question

"Ablish ICE and then what?" Is not a real question. Clearly if ICE didn't exist tomorrow society would just objectively be more peaceful and would not in any way fall apart

If you have a billion dollars or more, you are evil. You don't start out as evil, so it's not like only evil people ever get a billion dollars; it's just that being a billionaire forced you to make a choice, be evil or change how you do things and stop being a billionaire. Billionaires choose evil.
You can look at the Epstein files and conclude that only bad people have billions of dollars, but I think it’s also possible that having billions of dollars cauterizes your humanity

The most basic gun rule is don't point your weapon at something you don't intend to shoot and don't shoot something you don't intend to kill.

So there are only two possibilities here: EITHER the agents were willing to murder observers OR they have never received any firearms training. 🧵
happening this morning in Minneapolis -- ICE agents drawing guns on observers. I reiterate again that it is only a matter of time before DHS kills more innocent people in Minnesota. Congress needs to shut this shit down right now.

there are definitely very annoying aspects to this website but i have to be honest, a lot of people’s complaints can easily be solved by following people who post good instead of post bad

I'll bang this drum till the day I die. I've said it before and I'll say it again

Using addictive as a descriptor for a video game is lazy and almost entirely inaccurate to the point you're trying to get across.

Balatro is not destroying the life of you and your loved ones, you just like the game
I cut addictive out of so many reviews. Unless you are talking about predatory mechanics that are literally designed to manipulate people in habit-forming ways, do not use it as "game is too fun!"

There are plenty of bad people whose work I never liked. I really loved a lot of stuff by Gaiman. He's a horrible person and I will never buy a single one of his books ever again.
"actually his stuff was very Derivative and not Original" like, you don't have to do this. it is good for us all to sit with the cognitive dissonance that a very bad person can make very good art. it is good for us to work through the moral ramifications of that.

Took a full year off work in 2022 despite being fully healthy and knowing that something like that pisses off these goons makes that even better in retrospect.
Dr Oz: "If we could get the average American to start working a year earlier, right out of high school, or a year later -- not retire -- or work better during their lifetime because they're healthy, it would generate about $3 trillion to the US economy. That would more than remove the debt."

Well now, would you look at that? A massive, 4-YEAR-LONG study of NEARLY 30 MILLION people in France found that individuals who received a COVID-19 mRNA vaccine had a 74% LOWER risk of death from severe COVID-19 compared to unvaccinated individuals and ZERO increased risk of all-cause mortality.

Putting on my suit and tie and going on America Erwache to describe a 234 year old basic requirement of the constitution for lawful searches and seizures as a “nonstarter.”
Rep. Mark Harris: "Some of these things are nonstarters. Having judicial warrants? To me, hat's a nonstarter. Being able to make off their mask, putting them at risk? That's a nonstarter. I would say anything that's going to hamstring the work of ICE, that's just not going to go anywhere."

Transphobes talk about wanting to "protect women and girls", but when was the last time you saw one jump in the way of a boss's attack and risk critical damage and possibly one or more status changes? Never, that's when. So shut up.

this is a very cool thing to do and also highlights one of the biggest keys to Zohran's appeal: he just thinks New York City is really neat

people who live somewhere want to vote for someone who likes it there and wants to make it better, not someone who wants to use it as a springboard
It’s your city, from the sidewalk to the skyline. The David Dinkins Municipal Building’s rooftop is open & free to everyone, starting this June.
