Every artist I know is really struggling right now. Financially, emotionally, their confidence, in general.
If you like an artist's work, support them any way you can. Buying their stuff or subscribing to their Patreon is great, but words of encouragement are also incredibly helpful.

if you made art this year, you did well. a sketch, even if it was scrapped ; a poem, even if it was deleted — mattered. you put thought to paper, you engaged with the creative alchemy of turning feeling to something tangible. doesn't matter if you weren't productive "enough." or good "enough."

in spite of everything that's happened this year and how hard it's been to be up and around and be a person and keep creating... I'm glad I was able to make at least 12 pieces I'm proud of!
