Honestly that movie wasn’t terrible, despite its weird choices and extremely mid-90s Hollywood vibes. And I can’t stop laughing at the fact that the Doctor FINALLY materialized on American soil, was IMMEDIATELY shot, and then died not from bullet wounds but from the US health care system. Top grade

(not very) random game Saturday: another Toshio Iwai creation! This copy of Tenori-On is 100% complete. It was never sold in a box, and was created with the WonderWitch (Wonderswan consumer dev kit). It later led to the real Tenori-On instrument.

We’ve found and preserved an unknown/previously lost silent, pre-war Japanese film from a 35mm nitrate print.
Its name is Longing for Rocks and Snow (雪と岩へのあこがれ) produced by the Yokohama Cinema Company and released sometime around 1930. No further details are available.

As I keep browsing through stuff related to the 32X and Sega's financial situation in the mid-90s, I keep forgetting about how sales of 16-bit products in general were starting to slump. Nintendo was apparently also reporting a decline in sales on SFC/SNES stuff, not just Sega.
