Mothership banning you for life from their third party license if they catch you sneaking AI in your Mothership publication. Much appreciated.

And telling people to not report projects they suspect of using AI and to find a better use of their time if they want to be helpful. Also thankful.

Inspired by a certain cyberdoll, along with my current mental incapacity which results in an inability to play tabletop games or read RPG books/tabletop rule books, I finally revisited the PC version of Battletech this week. It's the first PC game I've played in quite a long while.

Using Classic Traveller for a fun solo experience.
Micro-post: Classic Traveller
A couple of days ago I decided to print out the original 1977 Classic Traveller booklets and see what they were all about.

This is my jam.
Out of curiosity, are there any fellow artists who create art inspired by vintage print/book illustrations? Would love to follow more who share my niche.

My other hometown. Wife and son are there at present. The demonstrations have been chase the police away level of angry.
Bandung the one to watch today - terrible scenes overnight of police breaching a uni campus and firing tear gas into buildings full of student protestors. Action ON campus is one of those sort of 'psychological barrier' things, security has long been barred and this is breaching sanctuary, imo.

I finally watched Tank Girl after thirty years. The comic book style and over the top scripting was enjoyable but oh boy, it hasn't aged well.

Looks like I didn't make the cut for Mausritter Month, so I'm going to pull the plug on the backerkit project and just keep plugging away at it slowly which is probably for the best. I probably don't need the pressure of deadlines.

Early D&D wasn’t just rules and dice! It had hidden Easter Eggs tucked into the art, maps, and even the names of places.

How many did you catch?

I finally got around replacing the old placeholder illustrations for this part of the book!

It feels great to do all these new illustrations and seeing the book coming together after so long ❤️

Had fun with @evlynmoreau.bsky.social in her Orbital Megastructure today. We didn't travel or explore much but had the pleasure of drawing up and populating the main features of two nodes. The process was like a mini game and involved the players instead of the burden falling solely on the referee.

Its here! A new blog post! A deep dive into Mothership's "combat" (Violent Encounters) and why excactly it trips some people up. If you aren't interested in mothership i still reccomend this - its about how we write rules and display information. This took me a long time and im proud of it :)
The Combat Conundrum: how violence actually works in mothership.

I endorse this message. I want to see them in Traveller as well.
How many RPG characters wear hats? I don't see enough stupid medieval hats in RPG games. Put a stupid medieval hat on your PC *tonight*.

A lovely review of the kind of book I enjoy reading. I may see if I can get a copy "for my kids".
"The Assassination of Brangwain Spurge" combines images and text to tell the story of a fussy elf dragooned on a diplomatic mission to visit the goblins, and his host who tries to show off the best of his culture despite his guest's comtemptuousness.
