What I'm really looking for is a turn based 2D top down on a hex map pc game that emulates a boardgame well, rather like the pc version of Ogre.

I hear the current files via Mongoose or DTRPG are good and I believe have the errata incorporated. Traveller is still one of my all time favourite systems and "worlds".
