I feel that at minimum there needs to be a competency test to hold any office. I don't think it'll improve policy, but it might stop officials from being this ignorant about the degree of fat shaming already going on in employer provided insurance.

Many left-leaning millennials I know absolutely hate Clinton for basically this reason.
I stumbled on a Gary Paulsen in a little free library the other day, read it one sitting, feel richer for it. It's okay to have just one thing happen in your book if the book can be polished off in just one sitting. But if you're teaching a whole unit, you need a plot, not just settings and vocab.
