Kurz was being called baby hitler by a german satire magazine in 2017, it caused some right wing tears at the time. So the comparison was out there.

Yes. All the empirics on misinformation indicate that the way to defeat bad ideas is to mock and marginalize them. Constantly declaring "hey the far right isn't so bad" is a terrible strategy both morally and electorally.

worth noting that one of the last acts the IDF took before the ceasefire took effect was bombing a site where industrial and construction equipment was stored along the border, seemingly to make the process of cleaning up and recovering these bodies even harder.
Due to the obliteration of Gaza the remains of these Israelis, some of who were killed by the actions of the IDF, lay under rubble, in other inaccessible locations, or having location unknown. Recovering them presents high logistical challenges that Palestine is not equipped to quickly tackle.

What a shocking (not really) development
“Israeli” ceasefires only ever apply to the other party. They’ll continue to kill whomever they want, whenever they want until they are stopped. They see themselves as occupying an altogether different moral plane than their enemies, like any colonizer.
