Actually, they're paid millions SOLELY to maximize profits for shareholders.

AND, I TOTALLY agree "We need people who have the courage of their convictions right now, otherwise shit just gets worse."

A second factor is strongly at work with US media: they fear Trump's reprisal if they don't speak well of him. Reprisal is mostly not a factor for foreign media.

my example above is French media. They aren't taking what Trump says literally because they're afraid of Trump, they are simply stuck in a lifelong mindset of believing that US presidents are sane and tell the truth.

THIS. We can try to stop them at the ballot box but these criminals (including fElon & his 💰), are working to ensure that won't happen. And you know what comes after that...the streets.

But how many Americans are not even clued in to the gravity of the situation at hand?

The tech company Palantir has secured federal contracts worth hundreds of millions of dollars during President Trump’s second presidency, including to develop software to help ICE deport people.

Trump has no friends, and Trump certainly doesn't care about Americans or America. All Trump's actions and threats are about things Trump wants personally and have nothing to do with what might be good for the US ‼️
Threatening and bullying a NATO ally into surrendering territory isn’t strength—it’s lawlessness. “MAGA-fest Destiny”: imperial arrogance dressed up as patriotism. Democracies don’t conquer friends. They respect them.

Ted Cruz fanned the flames of insurrection.

Ken Paxton provoked the rioters before the assault.

John Cornyn refused to investigate the attack.

1) Trump could not succeed in invading any of these countries‼️ Regular & irregular armed forces would quickly make US casualties unacceptable. BUT, that's not the question!

2) Militarily, Trump could wipe out their air defenses & bomb their cities back to the stone age (like Gaza 👇) But then what?
