I feel like the fractures we are seeing in the MAGA coalition have some people hoping the status quo will simply make a roaring comeback, and judicial consequences will simply engulf all of the bad guys. There's really no precedent that supports that expectation.

I can't speak for what was said at the protests, but seeing people react to an anodyne statement like "sacred spaces should not be used to promote activities in violation of international law" as if it were a vicious slur is clarifying.

Farrah and Muhanad have a lot of integrity and upon finding out that a scammer was trying to trick other Gazans by saying he promoted their campaign (when he didn’t) they decided to change the URL so he couldn’t do that- so this is their new link to their fundraiser now.

I am also trying to be okay with lowering my standards, writing things that are fine without any need for them to be great.
It's HARD, but I'm trying to enjoy writing for the sake of it, because that's the only way I can get over the difficulties I've been having with it, I think.
