They have to come for children because children are usually less willing to accept "thats just the way it is" as an explanation for why they cant do things. Adults all carry the trauma of having that "WHY?" beaten out of them, and so are often willing participants in passing that violence along

Like I am genuinely having *so much fun* learning about birds. And then there's always so much more to learn about mammals, trees, plants, reptiles, fish... I can learn tracking!! And about river ecology. Fungi! An entire world out there.

Eventually I'll know soooo much more about both, and building those skills will be a great challenge!
