Let’s be clear: Every year the retirement age is raised is a 7% benefit cut.

We can afford to INCREASE Social Security benefits if billionaires pay their fair share!

1) If Hegseth ordered troops to "kill everybody" in that barbaric second strike, he should be arrested.

2) If Admiral Bradley followed what he damn well knew was an illegal order from Hegseth, he should be removed from duty, and court-martialed.

3) If Trump does nothing, he is a war criminal.

University general counsel and boards are crowding ERs with hamstring and Achilles injuries incurred while absolutely sprinting to the White House to surrender everything they’re supposed to stand for.
Northwestern University became the sixth the sixth school to reach a deal with the Trump administration, ending federal investigations into alleged discrimination, race-based admissions and a hostile environment for Jewish students.

I think people's interest in this DC-journo train wreck is understandable (and so is the desire to unsee it); I hope folks understand that it's not a soap opera and, in fact, the reason it's so grotesque is that the people involved are treating it like one.

worth noting that there have been no reported violent assaults w/a gun near 17th & I since 2018, and no homicides from 2008 on (the publicly available data only go back to 1/1/2008). This is not a dangerous area–there was no reason for them to be there. (data from crimecards.dc.gov/homicides:cr...)
one thing we *can* conclude at this point — those two national guards would not have been shot if trump had not abused his power to deploy them to DC

And for too long they were treated as “reasonable doctors” who just had a different viewpoint and were often unfairly maligned.

That was always obviously absurd. And hope we can put that myth to rest and not make excuses for bad faith actors moving forward.

They’re “too young to vote”.

They’re too young to drink.

But they’re not too young to be sex trafficked and raped by Epstein and all his rich pals?

Be serious please.
