Countless dedicated individuals spent months fighting freezing rain, blistering sun, abusive police, a dishonest Attorney General, and more to seek justice for Breonna and police reform. Their work was not in vain. But the City, State, and Trump DOJ keep pushing back and stomping all over her grave.

What does it mean to be “Moderate” in the face of starving children? In the face of Fascism? in the face of the destruction of the White House both metaphorically and in dirt and stone? It means losing. It means losing America.

A nation based upon the Rule of Law will die of old age unless the next generation is ready. Today 4 of my Trial Practice students tried their [Final Exam] trial to a jury from Butler High in our courtroom. These are the students and connections that fuel our future. Go Cards. Go Bears. Go Us.
