If you supported a 10 year old American child with brain cancer, on her way to medical treatment, being deported because her parents are undocumented (but have no criminal records), then you’re a horrific person and I’m not sure how you sleep at night.

Believing in people, making them feel good and protected, and wanting to contribute to a common purpose, rather than constantly chiding them for not working hard enough, would be a good start.
The UK’s competitive advantage is that when, all around the world, people were getting sick of their governments and voting them out, our incumbent government happened to be a right wing one so we could move to the left while everywhere else is moving right. Time to show the world the benefit.
