Hi, all. I'm Valerian, I mostly just talk about games and whatever random thing crosses my mind. I'm mainly into RPGs and strategy games, like Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Baldur's Gate 1-3, Disco Elysium, Star Control II, Vicky, Stellaris, etc.

These are all extremely good games and Wrath of the Righteous is still pretty recent, so all of this for 10 dollars is a steal. Recommend if you're into cRPGs or want to check them out.

Holidays are extremely tough for me as I have yet to have a good one in my 40 years, so I may be a bit scarce here and on Discord and such over the next few weeks to avoid trauma dumping on anyone.

I think the only thing I've ever really been proud of myself for is my current sobriety. It is exceedingly difficult not to give into despair and just drown myself in a bottle between my already bad mental health and the general state of the world, but I am managing still.

I also want to make it clear that my 11 year old rides the bus by his own choice in spite of having to deal with a bully on the bus, because his best friend also rides the bus and they get to spend time together on the bus talking about video games. important thing to me was his agency in the matter

this is a very stupid midpoint of a very stupid rant by a very stupid person apparently so bereft of problems in their life they needed to make one up, but 90% of the bullying I was the recipient of happened on the bus, where there is only one distracted adult to supervise dozens of children

Some Dems have told themselves only ~1% of the population is trans so they can dip their toe in the anti-trans filth and come out clean.

This Larian news really blows. I was looking forward to Divinity after the amazing job they did with BG3 (and the other games I've played, namely DOS2 and Dragon Commander). Really hope they absolutely back off of AI, but I think the damage is already done tbh
