Finished FF3.
Definitely a lot less darker story compared to its predecessor FF2. That said, I enjoyed the overall story and loved the job system customization.

SOMA has amazing visuals with some deep exploration of transhumanist philosophy. The game starts with a Philip K. Dick quote.
But God, are the stealth elements kinda frustrating. And the worst part is you can't activate the Safe Mode mid-game. 😭

Finished Parasite Eve a few hours ago.
It was really nice to have a horror game, but with RPG elements and turn based combat. A bit unfortunate that this hasn't been explored further.
Like Xenogears, this game deserves a remaster or full on remake.

I played the original Observer 5 years ago, but not the System Redux version. Finished it yesterday while streaming.
If you enjoy Control, detective stories, and the cyberpunk genre, you will enjoy Observer and its beautifully trippy visuals.

Each time I've told people of my story, they ask if the characters will fall in love.
Why can't a man and woman character be platonic friends? Why does everything have to be shipped?

FF2 was a dark game about a war with several character deaths.
In contrast, FF3 is a silly billy game where you literally shrink yourself so you can visit the gnome village. 😭
