Hard to believe this is my first time beating this game, but it is! I finished the game as Blaze, which is who I always pick in Streets of Rage games tbh. Guard Crush knows how to make good beat 'em ups.

I'm kinda shifting away in interest now because I'm really starting to notice the streaming artifacts in dark screens and little pixelation. Some slight input delay as well.
I find it funny that rich CEOs want to sell us streaming like this instead of video cards. It wouldn't work for me!

I was kinda vibing with this 3DS game’s OP song with 3D turned on because I’ve never seen anime in 3D before, but then titties bounced in my direction and I just couldn’t not laugh.

To add to an earlier post. I grew up through a generation that witnessed large jumps in technology every few years up until we got to modern hardware where it feels a little more negligible. Going from NES to SNES and then PS1 to PS2 was wild. The jump from FF9 to FF10 shook me.

I’ve never played Diablo II, but when I was a kid I stayed the night at my cousins house and his dad got the game and stayed up all night playing it. I remember waking up and seeing him still gaming and I was impressed. He was like me with every new Final Fantasy game. 👑

Highguard dev laid off most of their staff. It's unfortunate to see an entire studio die like this. I felt bad for the Concord studio as well. A lot of talented people. Highguard wasn't for me, but it doesn't make it any less brutal to see.

6 more days until I hit 40. When I was turning 30 it felt like a complete nightmare to me. 40 approaching isn’t as bad for me. I do think about my mortality a little more maybe. 😅
