Obviously I'm on Kamiya side, but his QRT does read like a line in a 80s mecha series where a cult leader who has been saying he's the Speaker of God finally meets an awakened survivor of the giant progenitor race he worships and gets killed from his hubris before the 2nd-to-last episode title drop.
