It's scary to share this, but a few months ago I was diagnosed with PMDD. I had heard of it before, but I didn't know what it was.
I read the diagnostic criteria (www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK279...), and I have every symptom. It suddenly made the last 3 years+ make a lot more sense. 🧵

The “problem” with vaccines? They so effective at preventing deaths that they create generations of people that question whether disease was a problem in the first place because they have never experienced the horrors of a world without vaccines.

as a child I thought it was wildly unrealistic that Sims would immediately give up on all their goals and dreams if a single dirty plate was left on the ground but now that I’m an adult I understand that that was the most realistic part of the game

I'm at the part of Blue Prince where progress has drastically slowed, I'm pouring over books and notes, flinging myself against the RNG wall, regretting some of my room upgrade choices (and frustrated by some of the offerings upon learning about what could have been).

A GDC reminder: SF COVID wastewater levels are currently higher than 2021. The vax protects from hospitalization, but only slightly reduces risk you'll end up like me, 10min from Moscone but too sick to have friends visit.
Consider a well-fitted (K)N95 or equivalent. It's worth 'looking weird'.
