I love that my kids get exposed to music at their public school - I don't love that so little attention is PAID to the children that my daughter was playing a broken flute (as in, *nothing happened* when you pressed any of the keys) for a number of weeks before she played for me and I told her.

My first flight of the day is slightly delayed out of Burbank, so I checked the status of the inbound flight for my tight connection in SFO and it’s my plane. I’m on the inbound flight.

My husband and kids went pescatarian a couple years ago now, and he is the cook of the family so I don't get much meat at home these days. Very occasionally he'll cook up a big batch of meat to freeze and add to meals for my serve and this is one of those occasions and the house. smells. incredible.
