I think this shows that right-wing men are too emotional and reactive to govern effectively, this whole “masculinism” thing has gone too far and we need to get back to the traditional feminine values that built this country

again, as somebody who has actually lived in a dictatorship and worked with dissidents from across the world, this kind of whiny cosplaying by academics pretending they have some secret knowledge of resistance is very annoying.
What we're seeing in the "don't sign up for protests" discourse is what Paulo Freire described as the convert's failure to trust the knowledge of the oppressed. As the convert tries to stand in solidarity with the oppressed, they refuse to let go of a world where they were the authority by default.

Sucks that there are real societal costs to the bureaucratic over-indexing on process over outcomes and byzantine requisitioning to avoid the slightest appearance of graft, but the bullshit timeline era we live in will permanently negatively polarize people on “efficiency” reforms for a generation.
