I feel real bad for Grasshopper Manufacture. There's the Lollipop Chainsaw remake whose developer says there'll be "no DEI" in the game. Then there's the Let it Die sequel that's jammed up with AI. They have nothing to do with/no input on either game. This is what happens when you don't own your IP!

The original Let It Die, if anything, was wholly defined its surreal, dark, and incredible vibes and visuals drenched in punk and alt influences and the gall to use A.I to generate anything related to it is disgusting since it was so heavily defined by artists to the point the game itself suffered
I shouldn't have to write a lengthy critique of the use of genAI while discussing a series that, historically, has celebrated art & music. Do not buy Let It Die: Inferno, or realistically, any game that uses generative AI. Our review: www.rpgsite.net/review/19037...

The thing to understand about "age verification" laws is that they are not just for kids
The only way to "stop kids from doing xyz online" using age-gating is to demand a government ID (or invasive biometric face scan) from EVERYONE.

5E gets called rules light which is when I realized the phrase doesn't mean anything outside of very specific conversations where participants are familiar with everyone else's preferences. In some circles, GURPS Lite is rules light, which is a laughable statement in other circles
