I only have a couple issues with the Gabecube and it's all entirely personal stuff that I know would place the machine into the $1000+ range and thus make it flop.
-8GB of VRAM. That's not great anymore even for 1080p/1440p. The price of all memory however is a reality and 3 more GB is like $100+

A game I liked that got overlooked just had a major overhaul, Phantom Brigade. If you like mecha strategy games this one is really cool.
