If you've purchased anything in an app you've tied your real name to your account, so unless nobody keeps a record of that it's not a privacy debate. You're just letting the banks, which we have to trust anyway, handle it instead of creating a cottage industry for privacy nightmares

Is there a reason apps being targeted for this shit don't just lock age identification behind a $1 purchase with a debit or credit card
Pretty sure cash cards are differentiated in payment systems from personal credit cards so you couldn't scam it there.
