"the entire second season is grounded by internal drama within a polycule of French theater queers in post war Paris being explained to a terminally catty Anthony Bourdain clone" sounds good here's millions of dollars get at it

The sound you hear is now thousands of Dads changing their passwords to "louvre" thinking it'll be funny.

As someone very into the technical side I can get into it.

Bluesky the social network was never supposed to be the product. This was a prototype/proof of concept for the underlying tech (atproto). It blew up past their intentions and so they've been trying to stick the landing since.

one thing I have to remind myself is that the bsky team actually skews very young, and haven't really worked as core actors in 'real' companies

we are posting in someone else's learning experience
people will hate it, they'll still disagree, etc. - but the decision was made ages ago, it's not changing, so just say 'asked and answered' and link to the 'what we did' post

do not open the door to relitigating something you're not willing to reargue

I get this question a lot. I don't have strong views on how transmasc people should dress, but since I often get the question, I've thought about it a bit. Will share some thoughts in this thread. 🧵

the point of Andor isn't "only anarchists are right" or "only terrorism works" or "only liberals defeat fascism" it's that birthing a movement that can destroy an imperial regime requires a diversity of tactics and people all willing to throw their lives away for the cause

This “NATO transcript” is fake and I’m sad to see people repost it. I’m reporting it and blocking the account that originally posted it. Always worth checking your sources before you repost stuff that conveniently affirms all your political feelings, whatever side you’re on.
