This is a really dense and thoughtful piece that does a great job of contextualizing what Cameron is doing as a filmmaker rather than outright roasting him.

After some SD card bruteforcing, the downloaded i-mode trial of Professor Layton and the Curious Village was preserved by @unabandonware.bsky.social and @yuvi.app ! Unlike the preloaded i-mode trial, this contains all of chapter 1 and is closer to the original DS game (voice acting, cutscenes).

Atrocious. There should be consequences for these constant attempts at capture.

If you don’t like that a man said people made him feel uneasy there then talk to your people about how they’re expected to treat people, don’t tell the paper to pull the piece where he talks about it.

stealing a screenshot but this is kind of insane to me? i just can't agree with the bottom one when the top one is correct about "you get what you put in"

like yeah the site "lacks whimsy" because you haven't dragged your community over with you. when you leave, they do too. that's how this works.

Japanese is actually a really easily language to pronounce since the words are entirely syllables which is really just sounding it out... instead of shit not being spelled like it's pronounced bologna vs baloney
Cannot believe it's the end of 2025 and we are still doing "haha Japanese names so hard to pronounce I'm not even going to try, and then say NAILED IT" as a joke

This just sucks man.

Do better.
