In all seriousness, yes, and my father in law would want me to point out that there are ham radio clubs all over the country/world who would love to help build that preparedness
I keep listening to the radio out of Asheville and hearing a person calling in to locate folks and another calling back to say they just went and checked on them because they’re nearby and no they don’t know them but they’re okay—we do not need cops after disaster, we do need community radio
