Yes, but it’s not a “nuclear option.” It’s the most basic, obvious, conventional option available if you want to actually do something effective. The fact that they’re not immediately promising it en masse tells us something, and that something is not good.
WATCH-- Former AG Eric Holder says Congress should consider impeachment for the DOJ officials responsible for holding back the Epstein files: “That's a nuclear option that Congress has.”

Lmao I love George but it’s posts like this that made me need to unfollow.

Mark Kelly literally voted to give more money to the people targeting him like this week.
Don't mess with Sen. Mark Kelly and expect him to take it lying down.

One downside of not being on the Nazi app is missing out on more hilarious CFB analysts try not to act like they hate Alabama football.
I do not believe in using playoff results to evaluate committee decisions but in this particular case it's because Notre Dame was beating either of these squads by 14-28 points and this was very clear at the time AND they had a comparable resume to Alabama
The insistence that these are two serious teams with serious aspirations irks me. These teams suck! They stink! I don't want to watch this!

Just shower me in these

Imagine twerking for Notre Dame. Sad stuff.

white people will take off their shoes before stepping on a picnic blanket but start a podcast if asked to remove them inside someone else’s house

This being the play to save the GOP for the midterms is going to backfire so hilariously.

JUST IMPEACH TRUMP

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD
Breaking:

Rep. Ro Khanna says the Trump DOJ's production "does not comply with" the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

Khanna says he and Rep. Thomas Massie "are exploring all options" — including impeachment of DOJ officials, inherent contempt, or referring individuals for obstruction of justice.

Being an economist seems fun. When ppl say the material reality of their lives has gotten worse you get to chuckle and say “sounds like you’ve come down with a bad case of the vibes” before pointing to the real economy, a theoretical set of abstract values aggressively massaged for max positivity
I think this strengthens the case for Stancilism.

Immediate post pandemic economy was *weird* in a way that made it hard to compare it to similar years.

But we've got low unemployment and low inflation now. Very hard to make the case that now is worse than the Volcker shock.
UMich consumer sentiment (current conditions) at 50.4 is a new all-time low -- going back to data from the 1970s.

I would hope they tell any reporter dumb enough to think that is a viable question after refusing to stand up to "quiet piggy" and the countless other insults to kindly go fuck themselves
I doubt that any Democrat in the '28 mix would leave Trump's name on buildings. Questions are how they talk about taking it off, and what they say when reporters ask some version of "but wouldn't that further divide the country?"
There's a series of things (like the ballroom, Gulf of America) that we're going to have to *undo* the moment this guy is out of office.
And yet I can already hear future Democrat presidents saying "I'm focused on the people's work, not the knucklehead stuff" and just leave this man's shit up.

The US has reached a grim milestone — over 100 killings from strikes on boats in the Caribbean and Pacific.

These are extrajudicial killings, plain and simple.

One thing I don't think people appreciate is that the political apparatus is so old that dozens of congress people and senators have weekly doctors visits and require non stop care just to stay alive and it 100% limits the potential for political action through the legislature.

I can *100% assure you* that if this report found that trans people & "wokeness" tanked the Harris campaign, the DNC would release it in a heartbeat
BREAKING: The Democratic National Committee will NOT release its long-awaited autopsy on Trump's 2024 win. The report is completed but Dem leaders decided it could distract from their winning streak, so it will remain secret. Not good.

🙄 Sen. Mark Kelly has been spending spam texts asking for money to take on Trump and Hegseth’s department of defense’s investigation targeting him less than 24 hours after he voted to approve a $900 billion defense authorization budget for a pentagon run by Trump and Hegseth.

Cynical and gross. 🤮

I think a lot of the discussion around AI isn't specific enough or informed enough, and that's why this piece from @edmondtran.bsky.social is so useful and important. These are actual concept artists spelling out in clear, unambiguous terms why Gen-AI is not only unhelpful, it's a nuisance.
We spoke to a dozen professional concept artists who are currently or have previously worked in game development about whether generative AI image tools have made their jobs any easier.

Zero said it did. Most said it made things harder.

Concept Artists Say Generative AI References Only Make Their Jobs Harder
“The ‘early ideation stages’, when worlds are being fleshed out by writers and artists, are literally crucial to the development of a game’s vision,” said one artist.

As expected, now that the Democractic party can rely on Trumps falling popularity to win races, it no longer needs to reflect on why it lost in 2024.

In other words, no lessons learned, no progressive policy push, minimal reversal of Trump's orders, and another 4 to 8 years until the next fascist.
NEWS: The DNC is killing off its 2024 autopsy.

DNC Chairman Ken Martin has decided not to publish a public report, believing that a backward-looking document would be counterproductive as the party has started winning.
