I think, historically, it's easier to find examples of the exact opposite???

The sense I am getting through all of this is that Larry Summers used his position to get a substantially junior colleague to listen to him whine about his marriage, then tried to get her to “have a drink with him” and stormed off when she was like no thanks I have a presentation tomorrow.
The emails have Summers reporting to Epstein about his attempts to date a Harvard economics student & to hit on her during a seminar she was giving.

New Republican talking point- Going after paedophiles only appeals to the far left.
Barrasso: "What I know is that Jeffrey Epstein is a convicted sex offender and he is dead, and President Trump threw him out of Mar-a-Lago 21 years ago. To me what's going on with Epstein is this is the Democrats trying to appeal to their far-left base and trying to change the topic."

It is interesting to me how the media seems far less interested in Trump's Murder Memo than you'd expect. Only a few reporters seem to be even trying to get a hold of it, and very few commentators are talking about it. Contrast that with Bush's torture memo, which was a national obsession. Weird.
Trump's illegal murders in the Caribbean just got worse. An internal DOJ memo on the bombings says the victims are waging war on the US, but per NYT, it extensively cites the WH's *own claims* to this effect as evidence!

It gets even darker than that. 1/

HASSETT: The prices for those goods weren't necessarily going up just because of tariffs

a big runoff last night, in New Orleans:

Calvin Duncan was exonerated after spending *28 years* in prison; he tried to get his own case records from the New Orleans city clerk—but the office dragged its feet.

So Duncan ran to become city clerk himself, and yesterday ousted the incumbent.

Awful to see federal forces terrorizing Charlotte, like how they recently terrorized Chicago. Truly awful.

At the same time, don't miss how they had to withdraw from Chicago to do it. It's the same guys, like a hit squad.

Bottomless desire, limited capacity. Push the regime enough and it'll break.

“Church members flee as federal agents arrive”

“Super G executive describes agents dragging out teen employee”

“Border Patrol questions people at Walmart”

I’ve said before that online gambling is the thing that made me completely rethink my “prohibition is always the wrong response to vice” beliefs

it’s just too accessible, man, and the online betting sites work harder than any drug dealer to keep people with a problem from quitting
i think online gambling is a cancer that is spreading throughout our society, it was a horrible mistake to de-regulate it, and we desperately need to crack down on it again
i can’t talk about sports gambling anymore without sounding like a crank but i do believe legalized sports gambling is like 15-20% responsible for our current dystopia

BASH: We have seen these attacks from the president at other people. It's not new. And I haven't heard you speak out about it until it was directed at you.

MARJORIE TAYLOR GREENE: I think that's fair criticism. And I would like to say, humbly, I'm sorry for taking part in the toxic politics.
