Oh, agreed, that stuff is so fun. But I wasn't explaining myself very well, I mean the main story. Hades 1 was simpler & the need for runs was so perfectly aligned with character & themes. Here it feels more mechanical. Which is funny, because in the first you were just advancing a dialogue tree.
I’m quite a big fan of the modernization take on mythos, although some of that might be great voice casting/performances than writing?
like Scylla & the Sirens is such a great bit. same with Eris, Odysseus and Nemesis
