The reason that Beyoncé is hanging out with the Kardashians & Bezos is because they have capitalist class solidarity with each other & that trumps any shared "identity" you may have with the lot.

These people are all our class enemies even if the music slaps. Hope that helps.

They also must make eye contact with and wave to or greet the customer.

If they’re within four feet, the employee should ask how the customer’s day is going or if they need help."

🙄 Won't stop the boycott, y'all.

I should also add that pulling a song from use has financial consequences and it's useful to compare the behaviors of say Taylor Swift and Beyonce with artists like Rodrigo and Billie Eilish.

DHS/ICE used an Olivia Rodrigo song for a video on Instagram and after calling them disgusting, Olivia's team allegedly pulled the song for use on Insta so the video has no background music.

This is the second time she's done this - previously it was a tiktok song.

Dems Reward the Hostage-Taker
Perhaps ending the shutdown was the responsible thing to do. But by caving, Democrats risk legitimizing Trump’s maximum-pain shutdown tactics.

Yes, the Dem cave was outrageous and horrible for morale.

We’ll deal with that over time.

But it’s also true that the overall pressure is now on the GOP, and the open enrollment premium increase notices only exacerbate that.

It’s time to make ‘em sweat and try to save some lives in the process.

I need everyone to take the time today to learn about incremental change and then consider how much incremental change was flushed down the toilet last November. It took DECADES TO GET WHERE WE WERE.

This is what I keep going back to. The GOP want the rates to skyrocket bc that is what they voted for (they just want Dems to get the blame). I think the fight changed that dynamic. Not sure how much longer they could fight for it before the public turned on them again after blaming Rs/Trump.

👀 Scoop: IRS Direct File, the free government-backed program that let you file your taxes for free, is dead.

IRS wrote to state tax agencies saying it would not be operational this coming tax season, per records I've obtained.

IRS Direct File: 2023-2025.

The tax agency has quietly built its own prototype system for filing tax returns digitally and free of charge, according to current and former officials.

characterizing Dems who want to reopen the government as weak Republican lovers shows some people see this as only a game.

real people are being really hurt by the shut down, and having human empathy for them and wanting to help them is a good thing and not a character flaw.

Sincere question: what does victory look like?

Because maybe I'm missing something but I don't see any viable path to actually getting reconciliation subsidy shit reversed

The game was always raise salience, and an up/down vote w/dem language sounds like that to me

bsky.app/profile/jame...
i think this is key. taking the deal would amount to taking the blame. it would turn a clear political victory into an unambiguous defeat.
If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?

Yep. Make it clear to the public that the GOP broke your healthcare and is refusing every opportunity to fix it, and drown them in 2026.

At the end of the day, they have a trifecta. If the American people didn't want broken Obamacare, they shouldn't have elected Republicans last year.
