The way DJT uses quotation marks is equal parts confusing & infuriating.

Do you ever meet someone & you just KNOW that their adult children don't talk to them?

I don't think it's true that the Carney liberals are trying to appeal to "right of centre" voters under the threat of the boogeyman of the PCs under Poilievre. These are the values of the liberals without the laughable facade of "feminist leadership". They've always been complicit with fascists.

It's always these clowns with no imagination telling the rest of us what is and isn't possible for our future together. Please shut up because your idea of innovation is putting Wi-Fi in a fridge.

The reason that Beyoncé is hanging out with the Kardashians & Bezos is because they have capitalist class solidarity with each other & that trumps any shared "identity" you may have with the lot.

These people are all our class enemies even if the music slaps. Hope that helps.

Times are hard & it's more important than ever to find a political home - a place where you can find refuge, resistance & radical solidarity.

1. When "community" feels intangible & fraught, having 2-3 comrades to practice care, organizing & intervention with is important.

Other organizing tips:

All the "How to avoid human trafficking" social media content is so frustrating because the vast majority of sex trafficking doesn't look anything like that, AND the most common type of human trafficking is labor trafficking.

More people are paying attention to Sudan now. I want to take a minute to honor & lift up Sara El Hassan, who has, since the revolution, provided consistent updates, research, background info, & calls to action. She has literally done what entire media orgs refused to do. Sudanese women, ya'll.

I'm one of the four fired employees. I was a writer & producer at Bon Appétit for nearly five years, during which I helped organize our union and sat on our bargaining committee.

I am, to my knowledge, the only trans woman in our union and the only trans woman on editorial who doesn't work at Them
New: Conde Nast fired four employees who were among a group that confronted the company's head of human resources on Wednesday over the decision to fold Teen Vogue into Vogue/recent cuts. Employees who were fired included journalists from the New Yorker, Wired, and Bon Appétit.

If we don't talk about the anti-Blackness in our organizing spaces, the racists will.

One time, I was walking back from Friday prayers in Brooklyn, with my hair still covered when a man cat called me & said, " Damn shawty... sorry... I mean MASHALLAH SHAWTY."

To date, that has been my closest experience with Sharia in New York.

Sudan & Sudanese people have always been integral to the global struggle for Black liberation. Revolutionaries like Amical Cabral, Thomas Sankara & Malcolm X credit Sudan with developing their political consciousness. Citing the revolutionary spirit of our people & being embraced in our kinship.

It's also a good time to remember that Sudan has been one of the top refugee receiving countries, so many found new homes in the valley of the Nile: Armenians fleeing the genocide, those escaping the cruelty of Ottoman rule, Iraqis, Syrians, Eritreans & Somalis fleeing war, exiled Palestians & more.

Now is a good time to remind people that the Sudanese Armed Forces are also genocidal oppressors. Denying this dishonors the millions they massacred in 30+ years of military dictatorship. Both the RSF & the SAF are part of the state apparatus of Sudan's political elite & imperialist proxies.

Of course, some people have harsher words of condemnation for those who are rightfully reminding others of the true legacy of Cheney than they do for genocidaires.

Can't denounce racism when you yourself are Islamophobic. That's the bottom line re: both Gillibrand, Schumer and many other Democrats.

Re: Mamdani's win:

- Running a democratic socialist platform is possible, effective & urgent

- Most people reject extreme Islamophobia & racism, despite its prevalence online & in MSM

- Elections won't free us, but the conditions of the struggle matter. There is hard work ahead everywhere.

I will never spare an ounce of empathy for Cheney or any other architect of US imperialism & murder. Not while their legacy has left & continues to leave generations across the face of the planet who are traumatized, expolited, killed, and cast out of their homelands.

Speak truthfully of the dead, like this:

Dick Cheney was a rabid racist & fascist who was the key architect of the "War on Terror" which killed, maimed & displaced millions.

He should die a million times more for his crimes in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen & Somalia.
