I think if they tried this for a couple years you might just get president AOC and FDR majorities in congress elected on a mandate to pass Medicare for All
I don’t want to post a ton of identical looking screenshots and this isn’t worth it’s own thread but

81 years ago, FDR proposed a second Bill of Rights to guarantee every American the right to employment, healthcare, education, housing, and a living income. His words are as relevant now as they were then. Watch.

Bluesky suspended Sarah Kendzior today for no reason whatsoever. She just shared excerpts of her articles, which were as always incisive and not offensive at all. Hey @pfrazee.com this is super not OK. I know her- we've interacted a fair bit via chats and her work is essential.

This is, unsurprisingly, nonsensical. Is he suggesting eliminating health insurance and giving people a few thousand dollars instead? And then when they get a cancer diagnosis they just go bankrupt?

He is so unserious. That's why we are shut down and Americans know it.

I will never forget the Toronto Blue Jays relief pitchers sharpie-ing Vesia’s number on their caps during games 6 and 7 of the World Series for as long as I live.

Just a simple act of love and solidarity and sportsmanship so desperately needed in these awful times. Class organization.
Dodgers reliever Alex Vesia and his wife Kayla announced that their newborn daughter, Sterling Sol, died on October 26th.

Please continue to keep this family in your thoughts. 💔

Pay attention to this people. This is the agenda that will fuel the escalation of a war on the blue states.
Trump: "They're gonna make DC a state and they're gonna make Puerto Rico a state. So now they pick up two states, four senators. They're gonna pick up electoral votes. It's gonna be a very, very bad situation. Now, if we do what I'm saying, they'll most likely never obtain power."

Not just thoughts and prayers. They need relief. Please send what you can. If you haven’t experienced this kind of devastation, it’s nearly impossible to understand how bad it is.
Please keep the people of Jamaica in your thoughts and hearts today. And may the world come together in this moment of devastation to come to their aid.

Trump is cutting off food benefits from tens of millions of Americans on November 1.

Even with the government shutdown, there’s a contingency fund that can be tapped to ensure families continue to have food. Trump has decided not to do so.

Trump truly doesn’t care about people.
