Kangfu Peng, Hong Zhang et al. show that scramblase-attenuated #Celegans ATG-9 mutants rescue the #autophagy defect and lysosome damage caused by nondegradative autolysosomes. This uncovers the role of ATG-9 in regulating #lysosome function & integrity. rupress.org/jcb/article/...

This week, our manuscript revealing the structure, inhibition, and mechanism of human Ceramide Synthase 6 was finally published in NSMB.

We combined cryo-EM and mass spectrometry to reveal its ping-pong mechanism. Check it out!
