In a rare mid-90’s screening of The Empire Strikes Back the (full) theater broke into applause and started cheering when Wedge brought down the AT-AT. Just a wonderful moment of pure, spontaneous joy.

looked up the clip just because sometimes people change his words for captions that end up innocently reshared, but upon finding it decided to share the video because hearing him say it makes it 1000% more definitely true and everyone will listen/believe more than reading it written out

Some of the anti-AI stuff feels a bit like when people would say "don't use Wikipedia as a source." It's just like anything else, a piece of information that you weigh against multiple sources and your own understanding of its likely failure modes
