I still remember how bad a state every single one of these dogs were in when I found them in various bad situations in Thailand.

This was a surprise from the @happydoggo.com team. Talk about emotional just 3 hours before the Marathon!

BAD NEWS! Should the swift brick vote have taken place earlier today we would have won. Tories whipped YES but by the time of the vote, support had gone home just like 2 years ago. It is an AGONISING reality. Tell your MP & steve.reed.mp@parliament.uk what you think. GUTTED.

This was one of my last things to organise at work before soon going on maternity leave and it's always so nice to see how much people still love paper maps. There's just something special about them and the joy, conversation and memories that they bring about 🥰
We ran a Map Giveaway for BAS staff & students this week, raising money for @mapaction.bsky.social! The maps were a mixture of beautiful, historical maps from the 70s and 80s, and previous versions of our main published maps. We had so much interest - thanks BAS for the support & generous donations!

Hurricane Melissa will have devastating consequences on people and communities.

Warmer sea surface temperatures, caused by climate change, have led to conditions that intensify hurricanes.

While people and nature face the destruction, governments must act on climate at #COP30.

Adders don't receive a lot of positive press... so it's heartening to know @suffolkwildlife.bsky.social are working with farmers like @janethomson.bsky.social and helping their conservation

Adders are not aggressive & usually bite only when really provoked, stepped on, or picked up.
One of the two #adder hibernacula created on dry sunny slopes. Scrub nearby to protect from predators and plenty of sun to bask in when the adders emerge in spring. Thanks to the farm wildlife team at @suffolkwildlife.bsky.social. @arableplants.bsky.social @nffn.bsky.social @jarawson.bsky.social
